About:

My name is Jorge and I’m born & raised in Germany.

In the age of 16 I started working as a Commercial Truck mechanic for over 3.5yrs before I joned the German Army.

After my 4yrs experience with the German Military I spent almost 1yr in school, fulltime, to attain my Master Mechanic Certification.

After completing school, I worked as Service Advisor (Consultant), Service Manager, Service Trainer and Test Driver. Now I work as a Automotive Inspector.

Why I do this:

I like to make good things better and I really love US-Cars, especially Muscle Cars from the ‘60s and ‘70s.

My favorite Cars are 1st and 2nd Gen. Camaros as well
as Corvette, especially the Mako Shark I, Mako Shark II and
the Manta Ray concept.

Also I like some "modern" cars, of course.

Besides my Job, I am a shark conservationist. These animals are really fascinating but unfortunately misunderstood and almost extinct.

So among other things I try to bring sharks & cars together again (like GM did from '61 to '69) with my car project MAKOne.

Philosophy:

With a good chassis you can compensate missing Horsepower. What good is a lot of HP and your Chassis is crap? Nothing.

So I always upgrade the Chassis (Shocks, struts, springs, sway bars, front and rear brakes, steering, wheels and tires,...) first, before I tune the engine.

I also prefer to built a good all-rounder than an extreme and uncomfortable car.

A good chassis (incl. all the components!) brings you more fun on the road, a better time on the track and more safety at all!
